We are searching for an experienced Hemodialysis Technician for our outpatient Kidney Center.
Position Summary:
Sets up and pre-tests equipment. Administers patient dialysis treatments providing direct care to patients on hemodialysis under guidelines of physician and in support of RN.
Required Education/Experience:
1. High school graduate.
2. Must be open to flexible/changing work hour schedule.
3. Ability to effectively communicate and present self to people in courteous, tactful and poised manner.
4. PCT Certification under a state certification program or a national commercially available certification program within 18 months of hire.
Preferred Education/Experience:
1. Certification in C.P.R. preferred.
2. Prefer 2 years of college in a scientific field, or two years in related medical field (i.e. Medical Corpperson).
3. Previous dialysis patient-care experience preferred.
