Position Summary:
Performs physical therapy treatments for patients referred to department. Conducts patient evaluation, performs documentation of patient progress, treatment planning and completes discharge functions.
Required Education/Experience:
1. Possess 5-7 years formal education and Bachelor/Master Degree/Doctorate in accredited Physical Therapy program.
2. Licensure in State of Michigan required.
3. Trained and educated in age-specific categories being served: infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric.
4. Capable of spending 10-25% of time lifting, carrying, moving items weighing 25 pounds or more.
5. Ability to effectively communicate and present self to people in courteous, tactful and poised manner.
Preferred Education/Experience:
1. Current membership through the American Physical Therapy Association.
